Goals Kit users will: • explore the history and culture of the Dakota, Nakota and Lakota people • understand the changes brought about by the shift from buffalo hunting to reservation life . • appreciate that the Dakota, Nakota and Lakota culture is not something from the past, but is a living, growing and changing part of South Dakota’s culture today • gain knowledge and experience in learning directly from objects
